Embark Micro School is a small, supportive learning environment designed for neurodivergent students who benefit from low ratios, predictable routines, and individualized attention. Our program blends academics, social development, and emotional regulation in a calm setting intentionally built around the needs of both children and working or homeschool families.
We operate Monday through Friday 8:00-12:00
We are a year-round program to provide consistency for working families (though our Summer Bridge Program is not required for enrollment).
Our 12:00 pick up time coincides with most parents' lunch hours, providing you a convenient time to transport your child to outside therapies.
Our half-day schedule is intentionally designed to support:
working parents’ schedules
therapy appointments in the afternoons
children who do best with focused, shorter school days
We are currently finalizing our location for our 2026/2027 School year.
We will be located in Frisco, Prosper, or Little Elm, and will update this page when we are able to do so.
Our initial program serves elementary-aged students, with a primary focus on early elementary (approximately Kindergarten - 2nd grade), and a waitlist for upper elementary (approximately 3rd grade - 5th grade). Placement is based on developmental readiness and fit rather than strictly by age or grade level.
As the program grows, additional age groups and pods may be added.
Embark Micro School provides:
Small group instruction with a low student-to-adult ratio (approximately 6:1)
Core academic instruction in language arts, math, science, and social studies
Emphasis on social skills, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy
Predictable routines with flexibility built in for individual needs
A learning environment that values safety, respect, and collaboration
We are a year-round program, allowing for continuity in learning and routine while still observing major holidays and planned breaks.
Embark Micro School is not designed to replicate a traditional public school classroom. Instead, we offer a thoughtful alternative for families seeking structure without rigidity, and support without stigma.
